Telangana Plans Next‑Gen Healthcare by 2047

The state Telangana has unveiled a long-term plan under its “Telangana Rising-2047” vision that aims to significantly expand and modernise the region’s healthcare sector by 2047.

The roadmap intends to build on the progress made over the past decade and chart a course for “next-generation” healthcare infrastructure and services designed to meet future demands.

Key focus areas include widening access to medical services across the state and upgrading medical infrastructure, steps that would help Telangana emerge as a leader in health and medical services over the next two decades.

Under the vision, the government plans to modernise existing facilities and introduce advanced healthcare systems and technologies to improve patient care and overall health outcomes across urban and rural areas.

The “Telangana Rising-2047” initiative positions healthcare expansion as a major pillar of long-term state development, reflecting a commitment to long-term public health, medical readiness, and improved healthcare access.
