The Rajasthan government is set to revamp its trauma care system after Chief Secretary V. Srinivas called for stronger emergency response measures during an inspection at a government hospital on Saturday.
According to an official statement, the state will introduce a new trauma care policy, upgrade medical facilities, and implement a time-bound action plan aimed at reducing road accident fatalities.
Srinivas said a comprehensive roadmap is being prepared to ensure quicker and more effective treatment. The plan is based on a detailed study commissioned under guidelines from the Supreme Court-appointed committee on road safety, he added.
