
MP Cabinet Approves 373 New Posts for Ayush Hospitals Across 12 Districts
The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet has cleared the creation of 373 new positions for upcoming 50-bedded Ayush hospitals in 12 districts, along with a 30-bed facility in Barwani. The districts set to benefit include Bhopal, Indore, Narsinghpur, Balaghat, Guna, Bhind, Sehore, Panna, Sheopur, Amarkantak, and Shujalpur (Shajapur). The move is expected to cost the state ₹25.57 crore.
The Cabinet also approved the continuation of non-institutionalised care, foster care, and aftercare services under Mission Vatsalya for the next five years. The programme will involve an expenditure of ₹1,022.40 crore, with ₹408.96 crore as the state’s contribution and ₹613.44 crore coming from the Centre.
So far, 33,346 children have been identified as beneficiaries under Mission Vatsalya, including orphans, children of widows and divorcees, those with parents suffering from incurable diseases, and children whose families are unable to provide adequate care.
