The Maharashtra government has approved two major initiatives aimed at strengthening innovation and research capabilities across the state, with a particular focus on technology-led enterprises and life sciences development. The government has cleared the MATRIX initiative, formally known as Maharashtra Transformation for Innovation Excellence, as part of a broader strategy to expand the state’s support system for startups and emerging technology ventures.
