The nationwide health campaign Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA) reportedly reached lakhs of women and girls, offering widespread health-screening and counselling services as part of a government push to expand women’s health access. This has been highlighted by Union Health Minister JP Nadda.

During the two-week campaign, the government said it organised mass screenings for chronic diseases — including diabetes — along with cancer screenings covering oral, breast and cervical cancers.

Health-care outreach extended to antenatal care, maternal health services and reproductive health support.

As part of the drive, dedicated health camps were held nationwide, and counselling services were provided to adolescent girls and women — supporting menstrual hygiene awareness and preventive health education, according to the data shared.

The campaign’s scale underscores a significant effort by public health authorities to enhance early diagnosis, promote preventive care and improve health-service reach for women across India.
