Mumbai, Ferring Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Rachit Garg as General Manager – India Region, effective August 2025. Based in Mumbai, Rachit will lead Ferring’s commercial business operations across India and the South Asia cluster, including oversight of the company’s product development center in Hyderabad.
In his new role, Rachit will focus on strengthening Ferring’s footprint in the region, driving business growth, and expanding the company’s presence across key therapeutic segments. His appointment underscores Ferring’s strategic commitment to advancing innovative and patient-focused healthcare solutions in India.
Rachit brings over 25 years of leadership experience with global pharmaceutical leaders including Johnson & Johnson (Janssen Pharmaceuticals), IQVIA, and Pfizer. At IQVIA, he successfully led the CSMS (Contract Sales & Medical Solutions) vertical for South Asia, driving major healthcare partnerships and large-scale client solutions. At Janssen Pharmaceuticals, he held multiple senior leadership roles, including Head of Business Strategy & Transformation and Business Unit Leader, where he spearheaded go-to-market strategies and digital transformation initiatives. His early career at Pfizer, coupled with leadership roles across global markets, highlights his proven expertise in commercial excellence, strategy, and business transformation.
