Park Medi World Limited has accelerated its national expansion drive, setting a target to build a hospital network with more than 5,000 beds by the end of financial year 2028. The company is focusing on acquiring and integrating facilities across key states in North India as it seeks to establish itself as the region’s most comprehensive and clinically capable hospital chain.

In recent months, Park Medi World has completed all‑cash acquisitions of three hospitals: KP Institute of Medical Sciences in Agra, Febris Multispecialty Hospital in New Delhi, and Krishna Super‑speciality Hospital in Punjab, collectively adding around 810 beds to its network. These moves expand the group’s footprint in the Delhi National Capital Region, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab and advance its broader plan to scale up capacity nationwide.

Company leadership described the expansion as part of a sequenced, strategy‑driven framework rather than isolated deals. Park Medi World says it is prioritising assets that are ready for integration and have strong market potential, with the aim of building a more standardised and efficient platform that can deliver consistent healthcare services while controlling costs and reinforcing clinical governance.

The strategy also emphasises strengthening care delivery in underpenetrated regions. The addition of a major multi‑super‑specialty facility in western Uttar Pradesh is expected to improve access to advanced tertiary services, while growth in peri‑urban and urban areas of the NCR is designed to enhance utilisation and operational scale. Full ownership of the Punjab hospital is seen as a move to boost execution capability and revenue contribution in that state.

Currently operating 14 hospitals with about 3,250 beds, Park Medi World is in the process of integrating several more facilities. If these deals proceed as planned, the total capacity across the group is projected to exceed 5,200 beds by March 2028, reflecting the company’s intent to expand rapidly yet methodically in India’s organised healthcare sector.
