Park Medi World has approved the acquisition of 100% shareholding in Krishna Super-speciality Hospital, which owns and operates Mahip Hospitals, for ₹40 crore. The decision was taken at the company’s board meeting held earlier today.
The Bathinda-based hospital is a 250-bed multi-speciality facility with around 70 critical care beds and offers services across key specialties including cardiology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology and oncology. Equipped with modular operation theatres, advanced diagnostic laboratories and critical care infrastructure, the hospital serves both urban and rural populations across Punjab and neighbouring regions.
Park Medi World has been managing the operations of Krishna Super-speciality Hospital since July 2025 and has now completed its acquisition from the existing promoters, fully integrating the facility into its hospital network. The transaction aligns with the group’s cluster-based expansion strategy aimed at improving healthcare access, strengthening regional presence and driving operational efficiencies in North India.
The acquisition is expected to generate operational synergies through the alignment of clinical protocols, systems and infrastructure with Park Medi World’s existing facilities. It also strengthens the group’s footprint in Punjab as competition intensifies in the private healthcare sector.
With the addition of Krishna Super-speciality Hospital, Park Medi World continues to expand its capacity in line with its long-term growth plan to reach 5,260 beds by March 2028 through a mix of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
