ADMI Elects Jatin Mahajan as New President to Lead India’s Diagnostics Industry

The Association of Diagnostics Manufacturers of India (ADMI), the apex body representing the country’s in vitro diagnostics (IVD) sector, has announced the election of Jatin Mahajan, Managing Director of J. Mitra & Co., as its new President.

The elections, held in July 2025, were followed by the formal assumption of office during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 23, 2025, in Kochi.

Joining Mahajan on the newly formed Managing Committee are:

  • Sanjeev Lala, Senior Strategic Advisor, Advy Chemical – Vice President

  • Dr Rajesh M. Patel, CEO, AGD Biomedicals – Secretary

  • Chirag Joshi, CEO, Beacon Diagnostic – Treasurer

ADMI extended congratulations to its new leadership and expressed confidence in their ability to strengthen India’s diagnostics ecosystem. The association reaffirmed its commitment to policy advocacy, fostering innovation, promoting self-reliance, and enhancing accessibility, affordability, and quality of diagnostics across the nation.

The new Managing Committee brings together seasoned industry leaders with deep expertise in diagnostic technologies. Their collective vision is expected to drive collaboration, shape the future of India’s diagnostics industry, and position it as a globally competitive IVD hub.

ADMI also conveyed gratitude to its members for their enthusiastic participation in the elections and continued support at the AGM.
