Infosys to Acquire Optimum Healthcare IT, Strengthening Healthcare Digital Capabilities

Infosys has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Optimum Healthcare IT, a healthcare digital transformation and consulting firm known for supporting provider organisations in large-scale transformation initiatives.

The acquisition reinforces Infosys’ strategy to expand its healthcare capabilities, particularly in working with health systems and providers to deliver measurable clinical and operational outcomes. Optimum Healthcare IT brings strong domain expertise and a proven delivery model, making it a strategic fit for Infosys’ growth ambitions in the healthcare segment.

With this acquisition, Infosys will strengthen its presence in the provider market by expanding its client base, enhancing technology capabilities, and unlocking synergies across multiple service areas. Clients of Optimum Healthcare IT will gain access to Infosys’ broader suite of offerings, including Infosys Topaz AI, Infosys Cobalt cloud solutions, cloud engineering, infrastructure services, cybersecurity, and application transformation.

The transaction was advised by Harris Williams and is expected to close in the first quarter of FY2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
