Amazon Pharmacy announced that it is offering Novo Nordisk’s Wegovy weight-loss pill, both through insurance plans and a cash-pay option, as per media reports. Customers with commercial insurance may pay $25 for a one-month supply, while those without insurance can access the pill starting at $149 per month.
In the coming weeks, the Wegovy pill will also be available at Amazon Pharmacy kiosks.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the pill in December. It contains 25 mg of semaglutide, the same active ingredient used in the injectable versions of Wegovy and Ozempic.
