Narayana Hrudayalaya has incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary, Narayana Healthcare North Private Limited, effective January 16, 2026, as part of its strategic expansion into Northern India.
The subsidiary is intended to focus on a wide range of healthcare services, including hospital operations, wellness management, and related healthcare delivery initiatives tailored to the region.
The new entity has been established with an authorised capital of ₹10 lakh, with Narayana Hrudayalaya subscribing to 50,000 equity shares of ₹10 each, representing an initial investment of ₹5 lakh and 100% ownership. As of its incorporation, the subsidiary has not yet commenced commercial operations or generated revenue.
The formation of a dedicated subsidiary is aimed at strengthening the company’s operational capabilities and providing a localized platform to address healthcare needs more effectively.
By creating a distinct entity for Northern India, Narayana Hrudayalaya seeks to enhance service delivery, expand hospital and wellness offerings, and improve market penetration in a region with growing demand for quality healthcare services.
This step reflects the company’s broader strategy to consolidate its presence across India while optimizing management structures to allow for region-specific planning and execution. The subsidiary is expected to play a key role in supporting Narayana Hrudayalaya’s long-term growth objectives in the northern healthcare market, positioning the company to better serve patients and communities with focused healthcare solutions.
