HaystackAnalytics, a Mumbai-based healthtech startup, has secured $5 million in funding to scale its innovative genomics-based diagnostic solutions across India.

The funding round values the company at approximately $70 million, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey as a genomics-focused healthcare innovator.

Founded at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), HaystackAnalytics has been working to make genomic testing more accessible, particularly in the field of infectious diseases. Since its inception around 2018, the company has focused on leveraging advanced genomics to improve diagnostic accuracy and speed.

The newly raised capital will be used to expand its clinical genomics products and strengthen its presence in diagnostic laboratories and hospitals across the country.

With increasing demand for precision diagnostics and early disease detection, HaystackAnalytics aims to play a key role in advancing next-generation diagnostic capabilities in India’s healthcare ecosystem.
