Bangkok Hospital has launched the CardioWatch Bracelet — a real-time in-hospital patient monitoring device — becoming the first hospital to deploy this innovation.

The CardioWatch Bracelet tracks an array of vital signs and health parameters without disturbing the patient’s rest. It measures blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, respiration rate, and continuously monitors heart function using PPG and ECG technology. It also evaluates sleep patterns and stress levels, enabling a more holistic view of a patient’s condition.

Unlike general wearable devices, the CardioWatch is hospital-controlled. Doctors and nurses at Bangkok Hospital are able to monitor all parameters centrally — allowing for continuous oversight of patients, especially those with stroke, heart disease or high blood pressure.

The bracelet is certified as a medical device by the Food and Drug Administration in both Thailand and the United States, qualifying it for hospital use to guide treatment planning and deliver personalized care.

By introducing this wearable monitoring system, Bangkok Hospital aims to bring continuous, comfortable, and comprehensive patient care directly to inpatient wards — reducing interruptions to rest, improving detection of health changes, and enhancing overall treatment quality.
