Fujifilm Healthcare Americas has announced the U.S. launch of its Eluxeo 8000 advanced endoscopic imaging system, marking a major step forward in the company’s endoscopy portfolio.
The Eluxeo 8000 combines a single-unit processor and light source, integrating multiple innovations to enhance image quality, therapeutic performance, and workflow efficiency. The company will showcase the new platform’s capabilities at the AGC 2025 meeting next week in Phoenix, Arizona.
According to Fujifilm, the system delivers “unparalleled” visualization with 4K resolution, triple noise reduction technology (3NR), and extended dynamic range, resulting in reduced halation, sharper imaging, and optimized brightness across near and far fields.
A key feature of the platform is its LED multi-light technology, carried forward from the original Eluxeo system. The latest generation introduces an additional amber-red color imaging (ACI) light mode designed to improve polyp detection and characterization. This new ACI mode complements Fujifilm’s existing linked color imaging (LCI) and blue light imaging (BLI) modes, expanding clinicians’ diagnostic and therapeutic options.
Fujifilm explains that ACI enhances visualization of submucosal blood vessels, aiding in the detection of bleeding sources and supporting noninvasive third-space endoscopic procedures. The Eluxeo 8000 system is also compatible with a wide range of Fujifilm’s diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopes, as well as bronchoscopes.
In recent years, Fujifilm has continued to strengthen its endoscopy portfolio through AI-powered detection systems and a collaboration with Karl Storz on next-generation endoscopy technologies.
