By Team VOH

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated NovaNeo Hospital, a modern private healthcare facility in Budh Vihar Phase-1, northwest Delhi, on Friday, advancing the city’s efforts to broaden access to quality medical care. The new hospital places a special emphasis on neonatal care, aiming to support the health needs of newborns and young families in the area.

The launch of NovaNeo Hospital is part of a wider strategy by the Delhi Government to strengthen the healthcare ecosystem through the construction of new hospitals, upgrades to existing facilities, expanded availability of specialist doctors and enhanced collaboration with the private sector.

During her visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the hospital’s infrastructure, including diagnostic units, wards and specialised departments, and engaged with healthcare staff to assess clinical and patient care capabilities. She reiterated the government’s commitment to expanding healthcare access so residents can receive high-quality treatment within the city without needing to travel elsewhere.

The inauguration was attended by dignitaries including North West Delhi Member of Parliament Yogendra Chandolia and Rithala MLA Kulwant Rana, underscoring the government’s emphasis on strengthening public-private partnerships in health service delivery.

The hospital’s opening aligns with broader budgetary commitments and policy measures aimed at boosting Delhi’s health infrastructure, including large allocations for new medical colleges, expanded bed capacity and enhanced critical care facilities.
