By Team VOH

ASG Eye Hospital, backed by General Atlantic and Kedaara Capital, has announced an investment plan of Rs 1,500–2,000 crore to significantly scale its presence across India by 2030.

As part of its Vision 2030 roadmap, the super-specialty eye care chain aims to expand its network from 175 centres to nearly 600–700 centres nationwide, with a strong push into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

The company plans to enter 100 new districts every year and acquire 8–10 specialised eye care practices annually to deepen regional clinical capabilities. In addition, ASG intends to set up 5–7 new state centres each year as part of its long-term expansion strategy.
