IBA (Ion Beam Applications S.A., EURONEXT), a global leader in particle accelerator technology for nuclear medicine, and Shreeji Imaging and Diagnostic Centre Pvt. Ltd., a prominent Indian PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturer, have signed a multi-site agreement to deliver and install four Cyclone® KIUBE 300 cyclotrons in Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Kochi, and Bhubaneswar.
The €5–7 million contract will support industrial-scale production of fluorine-18 (F-18) labelled compounds and other PET tracers, enhancing the availability of diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals across India.
India’s PET imaging market is expanding rapidly as access moves beyond major cities, increasing the need for secure and reliable tracer supply. The four new cyclotrons will strengthen Shreeji’s manufacturing network, bringing high-quality F-18 production closer to patients, reducing logistics risks, and increasing capacity for emerging tracers. The deployment also reinforces IBA’s presence in India and contributes to broader access to PET diagnostics in cancer care.
The Cyclone® KIUBE 300 platform is designed for high beam current, industrial reliability, and scalable production, supporting GMP-compliant F-18 output while keeping operating costs efficient across multiple sites.
This infrastructure expansion positions Shreeji to meet growing domestic demand, introduce next-generation tracers, and provide consistent, nationwide service to healthcare providers.
