On World Senior Citizens Day, Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited (Star Health Insurance), India’s largest standalone health insurer, announced that it has provided health cover to over 30 lakh senior citizens and settled claims worth more than ₹11,500 crore over the past 18 years. The milestone also highlights the success of its flagship Senior Citizen Red Carpet Policy, launched in 2007 as the first health insurance in India dedicated to those aged 60 and above.
