The Himachal Pradesh government has developed a comprehensive roadmap worth ₹213.75 crore to enhance diagnostic infrastructure across the state’s healthcare network.
According to an official statement, the plan aims to equip government health institutions—from primary health centres to district hospitals—with state-of-the-art diagnostic machinery. This includes modern imaging systems, laboratory testing equipment, and digital diagnostic tools that will enable faster, more accurate detection of diseases.
Since delay in diagnosis often leads to worsening of medical conditions, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed the health department to implement a large-scale modernisation plan, it said.
