The Zydus-Pinkathon Mumbai, scheduled for 20–21 December 2025 at the MMRDA Grounds in BKC, is part of India’s largest women’s run series, aimed at promoting fitness, preventive health, and awareness of women’s health issues, particularly breast cancer.
The Mumbai edition, part of a broader six-city 2025–26 series- Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai, offers race categories ranging from beginner-friendly 3 km and 5 km runs to ultra-endurance challenges up to 100 km, including a 100 km relay, enabling women of all ages and fitness levels to participate.
By combining sport, education, and empowerment, the Pinkathon seeks to motivate women to prioritise their health, foster community support, and raise public consciousness about critical health issues, while encouraging early detection and lifestyle changes.
Organisers emphasise inclusivity and accessibility, offering participants bib numbers, T-shirts, finisher medals, and certificates, with online registration required in advance and race bib collection at a pre-event expo.
Founded in 2012, the Pinkathon has grown into a nationwide movement that blends fitness, preventive health awareness, and women’s empowerment, making health education engaging and actionable across communities.
