Eli Lilly and Company has appointed Pranav Shroff as Director of Marketing, marking his entry into the healthcare sector after more than two decades of leadership experience across technology, consumer and telecom industries.

Shroff announced the appointment on LinkedIn, describing healthcare as a domain where purpose and innovation intersect most sharply. He noted that the opportunity to contribute to science-led innovation that improves health outcomes is both humbling and energising.

In his new role, Shroff will focus on strengthening Eli Lilly’s marketing strategy as the company continues to expand its presence across key therapeutic areas. His mandate includes driving demand creation, portfolio strategy and long-term brand equity, while aligning marketing with business transformation goals.

A senior marketing leader, Shroff is known for building growth at scale by operating at the intersection of brand, business and transformation. Over the course of his career, he has led category and brand growth in highly competitive markets, driven large-scale marketing and digital transformations, and built high-performing, cross-functional teams across geographies.

He brings a general manager’s mindset to marketing, combining narrative-led brand building with data-driven rigour. Shroff has also been actively involved in coaching senior and mid-level leaders, helping them develop clarity in decision-making and purposeful leadership.
