The MedTech company vTitan Corporation Pvt. Ltd. has unveiled a new cardiac-monitoring device, vCardio, which offers continuous point-of-care heart monitoring designed and manufactured in India.

vCardio is a single-lead wearable cardiac monitor that supports both clinical and home-based cardiac monitoring needs. It is built to enable early detection of cardiac events as well as monitoring during post-surgical recovery or long-term care for patients at risk of heart conditions.

The device is lightweight and compact, designed to be comfortable for prolonged wear and suitable for ambulatory monitoring. It uses Bluetooth connectivity to integrate with a mobile app and software platform, enabling seamless data transmission for remote patient monitoring by clinicians.

vCardio continuously records ECG data over days, allowing for real-time analysis and storage of hourly and daily summaries if used for extended home-based monitoring (typically over 7-10 days).

It is capable of edge-AI processing of heart data to detect and classify more than 20 clinically significant cardiac arrhythmias, providing detailed beat-to-beat analysis for improved rhythm insights and aiding in diagnostic confidence and clinical workflow efficiency.

In addition to its clinical utility, vCardio is highlighted as a particularly valuable solution for healthcare delivery in rural and underserved areas, where access to specialists may be limited. By enabling point-of-care screening and remote monitoring, the device aims to help bridge gaps in cardiac care accessibility across diverse settings.

The launch of vCardio reflects vTitan’s broader commitment to developing in-house, home-grown medical devices combining hardware and cloud-based AI analytics, positioning the company among those seeking to advance India’s medical-tech self-reliance.
