Gentuity has announced a collaboration agreement with GE HealthCare to expand access, adoption, and integration of complementary imaging technologies for interventional cardiology.
The partnership will include co-marketing initiatives, technical integration of technologies, and efforts to expand the reach of Gentuity’s products via GE HealthCare’s U.S. distribution network.
Gentuity’s portfolio features a high-frequency optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging system, powered by machine learning for rapid setup and detailed imaging. The system is paired with the Vis-Rx Prime micro-imaging catheter—the world’s smallest at 1.8F—designed for comprehensive vessel imaging before and after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures.
“At GE HealthCare, we aim to tell the story of the heart through technologies that diagnose, treat, and monitor cardiovascular conditions,” said Jyoti Gera, CEO of CardioVascular and Interventional Solutions at GE HealthCare. “This collaboration with Gentuity aligns with our mission to deliver medical devices that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.”
Gentuity’s proprietary AI-driven solutions are designed to reduce operator workload and improve procedural success. “We’re excited to expand our relationship with GE HealthCare and bring our advanced imaging solutions to more providers,” said Desmond Adler, President of Gentuity. “Combining complementary technologies amplifies their individual impact, benefiting both physicians and patients.”
