Maverick Simulation Solutions, a leading manufacturer of advanced medical simulators, has installed Delhi NCR’s first Anatomage Table at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) & Safdarjung Hospital. The installation was inaugurated by Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary (Health), coinciding with the launch of the hospital’s Virtual Clinical Anatomy Laboratory, aimed at transforming anatomy and clinical science education.

The Anatomage Table is among the world’s most advanced 3D, real-tissue-based anatomy visualization systems. It enables full-body virtual dissections, high-resolution anatomy exploration, and correlation of radiological images with real human data. The technology offers a fully interactive, cadaver-free learning environment for medical students, educators, and practitioners.

Beyond education, the system facilitates pre-surgical planning, case-based discussions, and patient education, giving clinicians deeper insights into patient-specific anatomy. This leads to improved diagnostic precision, optimized surgical planning, and enhanced multidisciplinary collaboration.

Speaking on the occasion, Anuj Chahal, Founder of Maverick Simulation Solutions, said, “We are proud to partner with VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital in bringing the Anatomage Table into their education and clinical workflows. This marks a major step toward integrating digital innovation in medical learning and practice.”

VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital becomes the first medical college in Delhi NCR to adopt this cutting-edge anatomy visualization technology, reflecting its dedication to academic excellence and healthcare innovation. The inauguration also marked the opening of the hospital’s Burns OPD Block, which includes a 10-bed emergency unit, specialized dressing suites, and physiotherapy and rehabilitation facilities to elevate patient care.
