Bio-Rad Laboratories, a global leader in life science research and clinical diagnostics, today announced the appointment of Rajat Mehta as Executive Vice President, Global Commercial Operations, effective August 4, 2025. He succeeds Mike Crowley, who is retiring after an accomplished 26-year career with the company.
In his new role, Mehta will oversee Bio-Rad’s global commercial strategy and execution, bringing a wealth of leadership and commercial expertise across the biopharmaceutical, life science, and diagnostics sectors.
Mehta joins Bio-Rad from Labcorp, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, leading large-scale commercial operations across the company’s West Division. Previously, he held the role of Vice President and General Manager, Applied Technologies at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he managed a global business unit serving a broad range of markets. His earlier experience includes progressive commercial leadership roles at Dow Chemical, where he developed and executed impactful growth strategies.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kurukshetra University, India, and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
