
In a significant celebration of international healthcare collaboration, Vijay Dhawangale, Founder of Lifenity Group, was awarded the Excellence in Healthcare Award at the 2025 UK-India Health Partnership Awards, held at the iconic Palace of Westminster, House of Lords, London.
The annual awards ceremony honours outstanding leadership, innovation, and impact in healthcare across the United Kingdom and India. Mr. Dhawangale was recognized for his visionary leadership and transformative contributions through Lifenity Group, which has redefined diagnostic and wellness services on a global scale.
Receiving the award from Hon'ble Minister of Law and Justice, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Mr. Dhawangale said, “It is a true privilege to be acknowledged in the company of distinguished leaders committed to global health advancement. This recognition strengthens our resolve to deliver innovative, accessible, and sustainable healthcare solutions that bridge gaps and bring critical care to those who need it most.”
Under Mr. Dhawangale’s leadership, Lifenity Group has positively impacted millions of lives through several groundbreaking initiatives. The free diagnostic services program has established a vast network connecting over 3,700 healthcare facilities, serving nearly 21 million patients every year. This successful public-private partnership has evolved into one of the world’s largest hub-and-spoke diagnostic networks, operating more than 181 advanced laboratories and processing around 350,000 tests daily.
Further extending his mission of healthcare accessibility, Mr. Dhawangale spearheaded the creation of the world’s largest rural dialysis network, consisting of 434 health centres and 2,653 dialysis beds. Staffed by skilled nephrologists, nurses, and technicians, the network delivers life-saving dialysis treatments to patients in remote and underserved regions, ensuring critical care is available close to their homes.
