In a pioneering initiative that blended sport with healthcare advocacy, Fortis Hospital, Manesar, in collaboration with BirdiesConnect™, hosted Swing for PINK, a golf tournament and First Swings experience celebrating women’s health, sport, and community.
Held at Karma Lakelands Golf Resort, the event brought together women golfers, healthcare professionals, and wellness advocates for an inspiring morning of golf, health education, and on-site screenings. The initiative sought to foster open dialogue around breast health in an environment that promotes positivity, confidence, and proactive well-being.
Adding prestige to the occasion, Dr. Alka Singh, Civil Surgeon, Gurugram, and Hitaashee Bakshi, one of India’s leading professional women golfers, graced the event as Guests of Honour.
The highlight of the day was an engaging awareness workshop led by Dr. Mansi Chowhan, Consultant – Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, Fortis Hospital, Manesar. Participants also experienced Thermalytix, a cutting-edge, AI-enabled, radiation-free thermal imaging technology designed for comfortable, non-invasive breast screening and early detection of abnormalities.
