The Rotary Club of Belur on Monday inaugurated state-of-the-art endoscopic surgical equipment (laparoscopy and colposcopy) at the Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan (RKM-SP), Kolkata.

The equipment, donated by AKS Bhagwan Das Agarwal in cherished memory of his wife, Late Urmila Devi Agarwal, marks a significant advancement for the gynecology department at RKM-SP, enabling modern surgical solutions and improved patient care.

The inauguration ceremony at Gahanananda Hall, RKM-SP, was presided over by Pujya Swami Nityakamanand ji Maharaj, Secretary of RKM-SP. Dr. Ramendu Homchaudhuri, Governor of Rotary International District 3291, graced the event as Chief Guest.

The event, coordinated by Project Chair Rtn Vishnu Dhandhania, concluded with a vote of thanks by IPP Rtn Anand Agarwal, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in making healthcare advanced and accessible.
