Fortis Hospital, Mulund, today unveiled two major centers of excellence — the Fortis Cancer Institute and the Institute of GastroSciences — marking a transformative step in its mission to deliver comprehensive, patient-centric healthcare. The new wing was inaugurated by acclaimed actor and cancer survivor Ms. Mahima Chaudhry, whose presence added an inspiring dimension of hope and resilience to the event. The ceremony brought together doctors, caregivers, and members of the community to celebrate healing, strength, and recovery.

The state-of-the-art wing integrates cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment technologies within an environment designed to heal both body and mind. Reflecting Fortis Mulund’s vision, the expansion aims to create a space where clinical excellence meets compassion, becoming a hub of hope and healing for patients and their families navigating complex health challenges.

The Fortis Cancer Institute serves as a multidisciplinary hub that unites Medical, Surgical, and Radiation Oncology, along with Genetic and Molecular Oncology, Palliative Care, and Digital Oncology Services.
