On World Senior Citizens Day, CARE Hospitals and Emoha, India’s leading senior care brand, announced a landmark partnership to transform elder care in Hyderabad.
As part of this collaboration, a state-of-the-art Geriatric Care Facility will be launched on October 1, 2025, at CARE Hospitals, Hyderabad. This first-of-its-kind dedicated unit will deliver specialized medical attention tailored to elders’ complex and chronic health needs—from comprehensive geriatric assessments to advanced clinical interventions.
The partnership ensures continuity of care beyond hospital walls. Once discharged, seniors will receive expert medical support and compassionate assistance at home through Emoha’s trained carers, nurses, and care teams. From medication management and vital monitoring to everyday health support, this seamless approach reduces the risk of relapse, readmission, and emotional distress while promoting safe recovery at home.
Emotional well-being remains central to the initiative. Through the Emoha App, elders can connect with a vibrant national community of seniors, enjoy interactive sessions, and participate in specially curated online events, fostering joy, engagement, and social connection. Emoha’s local neighborhood presence further strengthens this sense of belonging and safety.
Biju Nair, Zonal Chief Operating Officer, CARE Hospitals, said:
“At CARE Hospitals, we have always believed in delivering holistic healthcare that evolves with the changing needs of our communities. With this meaningful association with Emoha, we are proud to strengthen our commitment to senior citizens by combining our clinical excellence with a comprehensive ecosystem focused on enriching the lives of the elderly.”
Saumyajit Roy, CEO & Co-founder, Emoha Eldercare, added:
“Caring for elders isn’t just about treating illness—it’s about ensuring they live with dignity, safety, and joy. Together with CARE Hospitals, we are building a complete ecosystem that combines physical care and emotional support under one trusted umbrella.”
