
Biocon Biologics Limited (BBL), a fully integrated global biosimilars company and a subsidiary of Biocon Limited (BSE: 532523 | NSE: BIOCON), today announced the appointment of Deepali Naair as Global Head – Brand & Corporate Communications, effective immediately.
In her new role, Deepali will lead the company’s global branding and communications efforts, driving an integrated strategy that encompasses brand positioning, digital engagement, statutory and regulatory communications, financial and corporate reporting, media relations, and employer branding.
With over 30 years of experience across India, ASEAN, and Australia, Deepali brings a strong track record in brand strategy, marketing leadership, and corporate reputation management. Most recently, she served as Group Chief Marketing Officer at the CKA Birla Group, where she played a pivotal role in defining the Group’s corporate identity, launching new brands, and steering strategic marketing transformations.
Deepali will join Biocon Biologics’ Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and report directly to Shreehas Tambe, CEO & Managing Director of Biocon Biologics. She will be based at the company’s headquarters, Biocon House in Bengaluru.
Following her retirement, Seema Ahuja, who previously served as Head of Communications for Emerging Markets and Corporate Brand, will transition to a non-business-facing role in the Office of the Chairperson, supporting special projects. The company expresses its sincere appreciation for Seema’s significant contributions to Biocon Biologics over the years.
