Bengaluru-based ASG Eye Hospital has launched a nationwide campaign to provide free eye care services to commercial drivers, running from January 11 to February 11, 2026. The “Driver Drishti Campaign” covers over 180 ASG centers across India.

The initiative targets drivers of taxis, cabs, buses, trucks, and auto-rickshaws. Eligible participants must present a valid commercial driving license or an ID from a recognized cab service. Personal drivers are not included.

Under the program, drivers can receive a full eye check-up at no cost. In addition, 1,000 free cataract surgeries are being offered, split across ASG Centers, Vasan Centers, and partner hospitals. The surgeries include pre- and post-operative care, necessary investigations, and protective eyewear. Surgeries require prior approval from hospital authorities.

Additionally, the appointments can be booked online, via ASG’s toll-free numbers, or through walk-ins.

ASG highlighted that the campaign aims to address vision problems that often go unnoticed among drivers, improve road safety, and ensure access to quality eye care for a segment of the workforce that spends long hours on the road.
