Sivareena S.L. has been appointed as the CEO of Preventive Health at Apollo Hospitals, marking a significant milestone in her decade-long journey across India’s healthcare and technology sectors.
She is visionary leader with extensive experience in building category-defining digital health businesses, driving product innovation, operational scale, and tech-enabled care models. Prior to joining Apollo Hospitals, Sivareena served as Vice President and P&L Head of Strategic Initiatives at MediBuddy, where she built and scaled high-growth verticals including Surgery Care, Vaccination, and Chronic Care, creating a portfolio worth over ₹300 crore with three times year-on-year growth and strong contribution margins.
She also launched MediBuddy’s end-to-end hospitalization ecosystem, enabling more than 100,000 surgeries, and led India’s largest corporate vaccination program delivering over seven lakh doses.
Before her tenure at MediBuddy, Sivareena co-founded PregBuddy Tech and ConnectedCare by PregBuddy Tech, pioneering ventures that shaped India’s early femtech and continuum-of-care landscape.
Her initiatives impacted over a million mothers and powered remote-care workflows across leading hospital chains, earning global recognition including Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, Google Launchpad, and multiple national awards. Over the past decade, she has led zero to one to hundred journeys across sectors where trust, innovation, and scale are critical, launching new verticals, scaling businesses, and building resilient teams.
She has driven initiatives such as the nation’s largest digital COVID-19 vaccination program, doubling the total addressable market for India’s leading digital health platform, unlocking a new category of furniture rentals, leading the largest CSR camp for underprivileged children, launching the first-of-its-kind juice dispenser in the market, building the first women’s health product on the Apple Watch, and pioneering bundled chronic care products, each combining speed and capital efficiency.
