AIG Hospitals will showcase a suite of affordable artificial intelligence-enabled medical technology solutions at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, underlining the growing role of AI in India’s healthcare transformation.
The session, to be presented by Dr. Rakesh Kalpala, Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Innovation at AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad, is scheduled for February 20 from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm at Bharat Mandapam during the five-day summit.
The presentation will focus on practical applications of low-cost AI technologies tailored specifically to the Indian healthcare environment, including tools for managing metabolic liver conditions such as fatty liver disease, digital systems for monitoring maternal nutrition during pregnancy, and AI-driven optimisation of electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) to improve clinical workflows and decision support.
The showcased developments reflect recent collaborative work conducted over the past few months by AIG Hospitals, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and the AIM Foundation, aimed at building scalable, cost-effective AI solutions for public health challenges.
The India AI Impact Summit 2026, taking place in New Delhi from February 16 to 20, brings together government officials, technology leaders, healthcare experts and innovators to explore how artificial intelligence can be operationalised across sectors including public health.
