GE HealthCare has introduced Genesis™ Radiology Workspace, a new-generation solution developed to modernize radiology workflows, create a unified user experience, and support radiologists with greater precision and efficiency. At the center of this platform is Genesis™ View, a 510(k) pending², zero-footprint diagnostic viewer designed to deliver rapid performance, streamline reading workflows, and enable full accessibility from virtually any location.

Radiology departments continue to face rising imaging volumes, increasing case complexity, and ongoing staffing shortages. In this environment, the ability to interpret studies remotely has become critical for maintaining throughput and ensuring timely patient care. Research indicates that radiologists spend up to 64% of their time on non-interpretive tasks, such as navigating complex systems or waiting for image loading—factors that can slow productivity and extend turnaround times.

Genesis View is designed to enhance the radiology workspace through fast 2D/3D visualization, AI-enabled tools, and seamless integration with GE HealthCare’s fully managed Genesis cloud portfolio. It also provides direct access to the full range of Advanced Visualization (AW) applications, supporting comprehensive diagnostic workflows.

“With Genesis™ Radiology Workspace, we’re redefining how radiology is practiced," said Scott Miller, CEO, Solutions for Enterprise Imaging at GE HealthCare. "By combining cloud-native accessibility with embedded AI and advanced visualization, it is designed to enable diagnostic imaging professionals to work smart, fast, and from anywhere—without compromising diagnostic accuracy. This innovation is intended to address the pressures radiology departments face today, streamlining workflows, reducing cognitive burden, and ultimately improving patient care."

Genesis Radiology Workspace is built to allow radiologists the flexibility to read from anywhere, without compromising speed or diagnostic accuracy. Its adaptive visualization tools automatically display current and prior studies to help save time and reduce cognitive load. User-defined AI prioritization ensures that critical findings are surfaced quickly, and radiologists have the ability to reject or modify AI-generated findings from third-party applications during their review. Interoperability through FHIRcast supports smooth integration with EMRs and other healthcare systems, positioning the platform as a foundational component of connected, cloud-enabled care.

The solution will be showcased at the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) 2025 Annual Meeting, held from Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 in Chicago, at booth 7334.
