Healthtech company Clinikk, which is building India’s first integrated health system, has received approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) to operate as a composite corporate agent, enabling it to partner with insurers to design clinically aligned insurance products linked to its care network.
Coinciding with the regulatory approval, Clinikk has opened three new Clinikk Health Hubs in Bengaluru, further extending its AI‑enabled, protocol‑driven primary care model. The facilities are part of the company’s first‑line care network aimed at serving working families and gig workers with accessible outpatient services.
Clinikk also introduced its Diamond Membership, an annual outpatient department (OPD) program that provides members with comprehensive routine care, including doctor consultations, medicines, diagnostics, specialist referrals, treatment support and cashless services across Clinikk Health Hubs and partner networks. The membership is designed to make predictable, structured day‑to‑day medical support more accessible.
Clinikk currently operates 12 Health Hubs across Bengaluru, serves more than 500 organisations, and has supported more than 500,000 patients through its care model. With IRDAI approval, expanded AI‑supported care protocols, new memberships and an increasing physical footprint, the company is targeting ₹100 crore in premium over the next 12 months through a mix of retail and employer‑linked offerings.
Clinikk’s model combines AI‑assisted decision support, protocol‑based evaluations and structured access to medicines, diagnostics and specialist referrals to reduce delayed treatment, financial shocks and unnecessary hospital visits by anchoring insurance within a strong first‑line care system.
The company plans to enter additional cities and deepen insurer partnerships focused on preventive and continuous care rather than episodic treatment.
