The IndiaAI Mission, in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the World Health Organization (WHO), has announced a global call for abstracts showcasing impactful and scalable AI solutions in healthcare, with a focus on systems in the Global South. Selected submissions will be featured in a forthcoming Casebook on AI Health Use Cases Across the Global South.
The Casebook, a joint effort by IndiaAI and WHO, will be unveiled at the India-AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi this February. Designed as a key resource for policymakers, innovators, and researchers, it will highlight real-world experiences, lessons learned, and successful AI implementations to support responsible adoption and accelerate digital transformation in healthcare globally.
Researchers, innovators, and institutions from the Global South are invited to submit abstracts that demonstrate successful, implementable, and scalable AI health solutions. The abstract submission deadline is October 31, 2025, with detailed guidelines and the application form available on the official IndiaAI event portal.
Selected contributors will be invited to submit full chapters (2,500–3,000 words) detailing the AI solution, deployment strategy, ethical considerations, impact achieved, and lessons learned. The deadline for chapter submissions is December 15, 2025.
The India-AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled for February 19–20 in New Delhi, will provide a global platform for selected entries to share insights, foster collaborations, and drive inclusive technological progress across emerging economies. The summit reflects India’s commitment to using AI for public good and building sustainable digital ecosystems.
The Casebook aims to serve as a comprehensive repository of impactful AI-driven healthcare initiatives, enabling the replication of real-world, scalable, and responsible solutions throughout the Global South, ultimately enhancing access to advanced healthcare and accelerating digital transformation.
