Private equity firm True North is set to invest Rs 150 crore in ACN Healthcare RCM, a provider of revenue cycle management solutions, marking a significant capital infusion aimed at scaling the company’s services and expanding its global footprint.

The investment is being made through True North’s Credit Opportunities Fund I, which has entered into definitive agreements with ACN Healthcare as part of its financing round. The funds are earmarked to support expansion of the company’s service portfolio, pursue strategic growth initiatives and establish new delivery centres that will enhance its ability to serve healthcare providers worldwide.

ACN Healthcare RCM has reported strong historical growth, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 68 per cent over the past three years. The company delivers end-to-end revenue cycle management and healthcare business process outsourcing services to hospitals, physician practices, emergency departments and specialty clinics in markets including the United States. It operates with a workforce of more than 3,000 trained professionals across four delivery centres.

The funding round was advised by Wodehouse Capital Advisors, which acted as the exclusive financial adviser to ACN Healthcare. Sources indicate that several other leading private equity funds are in advanced talks to invest up to an additional $20 million in the current funding cycle, reflecting broader investor interest in the healthcare RCM space.

ACN Healthcare’s solutions aim to enhance revenue realisation for providers, streamline financial operations and improve patient experience by leveraging advanced technology integration and process expertise. The revenue cycle management industry continues to attract attention due to rising complexity in healthcare delivery, increasing regulatory demands and the shift toward digital transformation and outsourcing, particularly with India emerging as a significant global delivery hub for healthcare services.

This capital infusion positions ACN Healthcare to accelerate growth, expand its service offerings and strengthen its delivery network at a time when demand for outsourced healthcare revenue cycle solutions is expected to grow in double-digit percentages amid global healthcare market expansion.
