Seegene Inc., a global leader in molecular diagnostics, announced it will introduce its next-generation PCR testing system, CURECA™, along with its advanced data analytics platform, STAgora™, at ADLM 2025 (Association for Diagnostics & Laboratory Medicine), the world’s largest diagnostics conference, taking place in Chicago from July 28 to 31. With these new technologies, Seegene is poised to redefine the future of clinical diagnostics and laboratory medicine.

CURECA™: Fully Automated, End-to-End PCR Testing for High-Efficiency Labs

Seegene will offer a live demonstration of CURECA™, the world’s first system to fully automate every stage of the PCR testing process—from sample storage and pre-treatment to nucleic acid extraction, amplification, and result analysis—all without human intervention. Designed for 24/7 continuous operation, CURECA™ minimizes manual errors and ensures consistent, high-quality results.

One of CURECA’s major breakthroughs is its fully automated pre-treatment module, which addresses one of the most labor-intensive and error-prone steps in lab workflows. Pre-treatment, especially for complex and variable samples like stool, has long presented automation challenges. CURECA™ overcomes these barriers by enabling seamless, hands-free processing of all major sample types, including blood, urine, sputum, and stool.

This innovation significantly reduces technician workload, boosts sample throughput, and enhances cost-efficiency. It also elevates the role of laboratory personnel, shifting their focus from manual tasks to data analysis, interpretation, and decision-making. The system is tailored for high-volume environments, enabling continuous, scalable, and sustainable testing operations.

Notably, the prep module extends beyond PCR, supporting sample processing for other diagnostic modalities like clinical chemistry and immunoassays, expanding its utility across the broader diagnostics landscape. Its modular design allows flexible deployment, adaptable to labs of various sizes and infrastructures

STAgora™: Real-Time Global PCR Data for Smarter Clinical Decisions

Seegene will also introduce STAgora™, a powerful analytics platform designed to transform diagnostic data into actionable clinical insights. The system collects real-time PCR results from hospitals worldwide, offering aggregated data on infection trends, co-infection patterns, and positivity rates at both regional and institutional levels.

STAgora™ features over 40 specialized statistical tools to support clinicians in making data-driven treatment decisions. By comparing individual patient results with broader epidemiological trends, the platform enables precision-guided, localized care strategies and improves diagnosis speed and accuracy. This real-time data integration supports smarter clinical workflows and empowers personalized care.

Driving Global Collaboration and Diagnostic Innovation

Following its strong reception at ESCMID Global 2025, Seegene is leveraging ADLM 2025 to expand access to CURECA™ and STAgora™ through pilot programs and strategic global partnerships. The company has strengthened its U.S. presence by establishing local subsidiaries, including Seegene Technologies and Seegene CURECA, to support manufacturing and R&D.

“These are not just instruments or software platforms,” said Daniel Shin, Executive Vice President and Chief of Global Sales & Marketing at Seegene. “CURECA™ and STAgora™ represent a global shift in diagnostic standards. Through open collaboration and technology sharing, we are committed to accelerating innovation across the diagnostics ecosystem.”

With CURECA™ and STAgora™, Seegene is leading the charge toward automation, real-time data intelligence, and next-generation diagnostic accuracy, setting a new benchmark for laboratories and clinical decision-makers worldwide.
