In a major advancement for surgical landscape in India, Apollo Spectra Hospital, today unveiled multi-robot surgical ecosystem supported by personalised 3D surgical planning in their Pusa Road facility. This move marks a milestone in minimally invasive care in the country. The state-of-the-art advanced robotic systems were inaugurated by Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, along with India’s first Individual Olympic Gold medalist, Abhinav Bindra, who joined as Guest of Honour for the unveiling.

With this advancement Apollo Spectra hospital has emerged as a dedicated robotic surgery centre by bringing together multiple advanced robotic systems under one roof—an uncommon advantage that enables both bone and soft-tissue surgeries with equal precision. One of the flagship additions is Meril CUVIS Joint Robotic System, considered among the most advanced platforms for the knee and hip replacement. Accompanying this, is, Robotic Soft Tissue Surgery powered by the SSI Mantra Surgical Robot, India’s advanced multi-specialty platform designed for general surgery, urology and gynaecology procedures. To compliment these formats, and provide holistic care Apollo Spectra has also introduced fully integrated 3D modelling surgery.

This powerful robotic surgery suite positions Apollo Spectra Pusa Road among the first short-stay hospitals in the region to house multi-specialty robotic capabilities under one roof, making high-precision, minimally invasive surgery more accessible for all. The Anatomiz 3D platform gives surgeons a precise view of patient’s anatomy, enabling advanced planning for incisions and implant placement, which significantly enhances accuracy and decision-making.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals group said, This integration under one roof ensures our patients receive the highest standard of safety and predictability across both major orthopedic and complex soft tissue procedures. This is a quantum leap from a single robotic solution that allows us to deliver our signature technology-backed, short-stay surgical model, ensuring that busy professionals and active senior citizens alike benefit from minimal invasiveness, lower complications, and a significantly faster recovery time.”

Indian former sport shooter, Padma Bhushan and a Businessman now Abhinav Bindra, said, “It is inspiring to see Apollo’s proactive approach to healthcare, consistently investing in future-ready medical technology to elevate standards of excellence. Robotics ensures a good level of accuracy and safety that patients truly deserve, making advanced surgical care more accessible. This initiative by Apollo Spectra represents the direction in which the surgical ecosystem of India must move, setting a standard that will rapidly become the expectation for all patients seeking high-quality, precise, and safer surgical outcomes across the country.”

With its multi robot offering, and modified planning tools, Apollo Spectra Hospital, is now positioned to become a key contributor to Delhi NCR landscape of precision surgery. The centre will also play a significant role in bringing world class, minimally invasive, and fast surgical recovery options to a wider population helping to shape the future of short stay surgical care in India.
