The VOH National Healthcare Awards 2025, organised by Voice of Healthcare (VOH), were successfully held in Haytt Regency, New Delhi, bringing together senior healthcare leaders, policymakers, clinicians, hospital administrators, innovators, and industry stakeholders to celebrate excellence and leadership in India’s healthcare ecosystem.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest Actor Ameesha Patel, who addressed the gathering she lauded healthcare professionals for their unwavering commitment to patient care and acknowledged their vital role in safeguarding the health and well-being of the nation. Speaking at the event, she said, “Healthcare has always deeply inspired me, and I have long been interested in the field of bioengineering. It is heartening to see how science, innovation, and compassion come together to improve lives. Platforms like the VOH National Healthcare Awards play an important role in recognising those driving this transformation.”
Dr. Naveen Nishchal, Founding Chairman, VOH Network & Co-founder, Ujala Cygnus in his opening speech stated, “Leadership, in my experience, is like a hurdle race—each challenge is different in size and shape, and the moment you cross one, another awaits. This is especially relevant as we come together at forums like this, which highlight how healthcare in India is at a critical juncture, marked by shifting needs, evolving challenges, and changing priorities. There is no fixed rulebook for leadership in such times. What remains constant are strong values—particularly trust and ethics—along with the ability to continuously adapt to changing circumstances. Platforms like this event are crucial, as they enable leaders to share perspectives, learn from one another, and collectively strengthen India’s healthcare ecosystem built on trust, adaptability, and innovation.”
Speaking at the event, Aryaman Tandon, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Praxis Global Alliance, stated, “Healthcare in India is already a $300 billion ecosystem, but we are only scratching the surface. With 20% of the global disease burden and just 1% of global healthcare spending, the opportunity before us is transformational—if we address fragmentation, insurance coverage, quality, and infrastructure, India can emerge as one of the world’s largest and most impactful healthcare ecosystems.”
The awards ceremony recognised outstanding individuals and institutions for their contributions to patient care, healthcare innovation, digital transformation, operational excellence, and community outreach. The event also featured insightful discussions and interactions focused on strengthening healthcare delivery, improving access, and leveraging technology to build a more resilient healthcare system.
Senior healthcare professionals and industry leaders shared perspectives on emerging challenges and opportunities within the sector, underlining the need for collaboration between public and private stakeholders to address India’s evolving healthcare needs.
The VOH National Healthcare Awards 2025 reaffirmed Voice of Healthcare’s commitment to honouring excellence and fostering dialogue that contributes to the growth and transformation of India’s healthcare ecosystem.
