Rajiv Nath is the Managing Director of Hindustan Syringes & Medical Devices Ltd. (HMD), a leading manufacturer of syringes and needles. HMD is known for its contributions to healthcare safety through products like Dispojekt Safety Needle Syringes, which are designed to minimize needle stick injuries.
In addition to his work at HMD, Rajiv Nath holds key positions in the medical device industry. He is President of the All India Syringes & Needles Manufacturers Association (AISNMA). He is the Founder and Forum Coordinator of the Association of Indian Medical Device Industry (AIMED). Through AIMED, he works to improve India’s regulatory framework and enhance the global competitiveness of the domestic medical device sector.
Rajiv has represented India at various international forums, including meetings organized by WHO, UNICEF, ICASA, and SIGN. With experience across 52 countries, he brings a global perspective to the challenges and opportunities in healthcare. His focus remains on ensuring that high-quality medical devices are accessible, safe, and effective, contributing to better healthcare outcomes both in India and internationally.
