Driving Preventive Wellness for Everyday India

In a country where conversations around health are often reactive and treatment-centric, Arushi Verma stands out as a changemaker reshaping the narrative toward preventive and accessible wellness. As the Co-Founder of FITPASS, she has been instrumental in building a platform that empowers millions of Indians to take charge of their health—on their terms, at their pace, and within their budgets. With a deep understanding of India's socio-economic fabric and a sharp eye for innovation, Arushi is not just building a company—she is helping to reshape India's wellness culture, making fitness a mainstream, inclusive, and tech-enabled movement. Her work bridges the gap between urban aspirations and everyday realities, proving that scalable impact is possible when vision meets empathy and execution.

Under her leadership, FITPASS has emerged as India’s largest unified fitness platform, offering access to over 8,100 fitness centres, AI-led fitness coaching, nutrition plans, digital workouts, and virtual doctor consults—all tailored to individual needs and lifestyles.

Making Fitness Accessible, Inclusive & Flexible

Launched in 2015 with her co-founder and brother Akshay Verma, FITPASS was born out of a personal insight: that fitness in India needed to work around people’s lives—not the other way around.

Since then, the platform has witnessed exponential growth—adding 4.2 million+ users in the last financial year alone—and redefining how Indians approach wellness. From office-goers in metros to working women in smaller towns, FITPASS is making it possible for diverse user segments to adopt holistic, preventive health practices on their terms.

Empathy at Scale

Arushi’s leadership is rooted in the belief that empathy can be scaled through design, technology, and intent. Her work reflects a strong commitment to gender-sensitive, inclusive innovation and a relentless focus on user-centricity.

Prior to FITPASS, Arushi worked at the Planning Commission of India, the ASER Centre, and the World Bank, where she honed her understanding of India’s developmental and behavioural health challenges—insights that continue to shape FITPASS’s evolving mission.

Building India’s Preventive Health Ecosystem

Arushi envisions a future where preventive wellness becomes a nationwide habit rather than a niche lifestyle choice. Through FITPASS 360, she is building a comprehensive preventive health infrastructure—integrating physical fitness, nutrition, and primary care into one intelligent platform that caters to evolving urban and semi-urban health needs.

With a growing presence in India’s corporate wellness space, FITPASS is also supporting employers in building healthier, happier, and more productive workforces.

Why Healthcare Needs Platforms Like VOH

“Platforms like Voice of Healthcare play a critical role in shaping public and professional narratives around health,” says Arushi. “By spotlighting innovators and changemakers, VOH not only amplifies good work but also inspires collaboration, inclusion, and purpose-driven leadership in India’s healthcare journey.”
