Ministry of Ayush Hosts National Seminar on Hepatobiliary Wellness through Ayurveda in Bhubaneswar

By Team VOH

The Ministry of Ayush, through the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) and its Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and its Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC), has organized a two-day national seminar on “Hepatobiliary Wellness through Ayurveda: Bridging Traditional Wisdom with Contemporary Science” in Bhubaneswar.

With the theme “Yakrut Suraksha, Jiveeta Raksha” (Protect the Liver, Preserve Life), the seminar seeks to promote integrative approaches by combining Ayurvedic principles with modern medical research to advance understanding and management of liver and biliary health.

The event brings together leading researchers, Ayurvedic practitioners, clinicians, and scientists from across the country to deliberate on the prevention and management of hepatobiliary disorders through Ayurveda and evidence-based practices. Sessions will focus on the role of Ayurvedic formulations, lifestyle interventions, and clinical research in liver care, along with discussions on collaborative research models between traditional and modern medicine systems.
