Under the programme, more than 1.44 crore citizens were screened for hypertension and 1.41 crore for diabetes, while cancer screening covered over 31 lakh women for breast cancer, 16 lakh for cervical cancer and nearly 58 lakh people for oral cancer. Maternal and child health interventions included more than 54.43 lakh antenatal check-ups and vaccination of 1.28 crore children. Additionally, 93 lakh people were screened for anaemia, 71 lakh for tuberculosis and 7.9 lakh for sickle cell disease. The campaign also mobilized 3.44 lakh blood donors and facilitated the issuance of more than 13 lakh new Ayushman/PM-JAY cards.
Alongside the efforts of the National Health Mission, premier institutions such as AIIMS, government medical colleges, Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and private hospitals played an important role by conducting 20,269 specialty camps, benefiting more than 29 lakh citizens.
Jointly led by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Ministry of Women & Child Development, the campaign will continue until 2 October 2025, ensuring accessible and comprehensive healthcare for women and families through community and district-level health infrastructure across the country.
