Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, inaugurated its 30th National Seminar on “Management of Illness & Wellness in Paediatrics through Ayurveda” at Scope Complex Auditorium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The two-day event focuses on advancing holistic paediatric healthcare by uniting Ayurveda scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students.
The inaugural session featured dignitaries including Vaidya Devendra Triguna (Padma Shri & Padma Bhushan awardee), Prof. (Dr.) Manjusha Rajagopala, Director, All India Institute of Ayurveda, Vaidya Mukul Patel, and Vaidya Rakesh Sharma.
Guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and the leadership of Union Minister of State (I/C) for Ayush, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, the seminar highlighted Ayurveda’s role in preventive child healthcare and managing emerging paediatric health challenges. Experts emphasized the need to integrate traditional knowledge with scientific validation to shape resilient future generations.
Union Minister Shri Prataprao Jadhav, in his message, reaffirmed Ayurveda’s contribution to child health as a foundation of a flourishing society. Dr. Vandana Siroha, Director, RAV, stressed the importance of Kaumarbhritya (Ayurveda’s paediatric branch) in realizing the vision of “Swasth Balak, Swasth Bharat.”

Interactive discussions on preventive and promotive healthcare
The event also featured the unveiling of a Souvenir and research posters, symbolizing milestones in paediatric Ayurveda.
