Shimadzu Medical Systems USA (SMS), a division of Shimadzu Precision Instruments, Inc. and part of Japan’s Shimadzu Corporation, has announced the launch of the MobileDaRt Evolution MX9 Version, its latest mobile X-ray system.
Designed for use across patient rooms, emergency departments, operating rooms, and other care areas, the MX9 offers smooth maneuverability, improved forward visibility, and immediate image verification through its built-in monitor. With multiple healthcare professionals handling mobile X-ray equipment daily, hospitals are increasingly seeking solutions that simplify workflows and minimise retakes.
To address these needs, the MX9 incorporates VISION SUPPORT, a camera-based imaging assistance function, and introduces a tube-mounted secondary monitor. This additional screen provides quick access to key information, supports dose management, and streamlines imaging procedures.
The MobileDaRt Evolution series supports three types of DR systems equipped with advanced flat panel detectors. The new MX9 Version C further improves workflow by displaying patient details, live camera views, and protocol options directly on its secondary monitor.
The product will be featured at the RSNA Technical Exhibits in Chicago starting November 30.
