On November 30, 2025, ahead of the annual RSNA 2025 meeting, ASCEND Cardiovascular and Konica Minolta Healthcare announced a strategic partnership to provide a unified, enterprise-grade imaging solution designed specifically for cardiology departments in hospitals and clinics worldwide.
The collaboration integrates Konica Minolta’s cloud-based Exa Enterprise platform with ASCEND Cardiovascular’s specialized multimodality cardiovascular imaging workflows. This combined platform aims to give clinicians access to a full, longitudinal patient imaging record — overcoming the data silos and systemic limitations often found with broader, non-specialized imaging systems.
The unified solution will support a wide range of cardiovascular care needs, including invasive and non-invasive procedures, for both adult and pediatric patients.
At RSNA 2025 — held from November 30 to December 3 in Chicago — Konica Minolta Healthcare will showcase the multispecialty capabilities of Exa Enterprise, now enhanced with ASCEND’s cardiology-focused solutions, at Booth 2165.
According to the announcement, the integrated platform promises to deliver a more efficient, connected and comprehensive imaging ecosystem. Health care organisations looking to adopt an enterprise-wide imaging solution can now access a cardiovascular-ready system that avoids the compromises common with generalist, one-size-fits-all imaging platforms.
This partnership signals a concerted move toward specialised enterprise imaging infrastructure that supports the complexity and high-stakes demands of cardiovascular care and could represent a step-change in how imaging departments manage patient data, diagnostics and workflows in cardiology settings.
