Yellow Fertility has announced a strategic collaboration with CARE IVF to broaden the availability of fertility treatment services across eastern and northeastern India, beginning with operations in Kolkata. The partnership aims to address gaps in regional access to assisted reproductive technology (ART) and in‑vitro fertilisation (IVF) care, especially in areas where patients currently travel long distances for treatment.
Under the agreement, eight new fertility centres are expected to be established in key locations throughout the two regions over the next two years. Initial efforts will integrate two existing CARE IVF facilities in Kolkata into the expanded network, bringing services such as IVF, intrauterine insemination (IUI), fertility preservation and other advanced reproductive treatments under a unified operational framework.
Healthcare providers involved in the initiative say the expanded footprint is designed to standardise clinical practices and improve the continuity of patient care by combining Yellow Fertility’s national growth strategy with CARE IVF’s regional experience. The move is part of Yellow Fertility’s broader objective to build a network of 100 IVF centres across India by 2030, signalling increasing commercial focus on fertility services outside traditional urban hubs.
The demand for ART and IVF services is rising in India due to heightened awareness of reproductive health and shifting demographic patterns. Expanding service availability in the eastern and northeastern states could reduce travel burdens for patients and help tap into emerging markets for fertility care.
